Why Adopt??

Puppy mills stay in business because so many people get their pets from pet stores. Please visit your local animal shelter to look for your next pet. Most animal shelters and rescues have a wide assortment of dogs and puppies and cat and kittens to choose from. About 25% of the dogs are purebred. (Probably form Puppy Mills!) So if you have your heart set on a certain breed it just might be their waiting for you.  Check  out breed rescues,  too.  There are Pekingese Rescues, Boxer Rescues, all kinds of rescues. Give the animal shelter animals a chance; you are saving a life.

Remember that pedigree papers do NOT mean you are getting a guarantee of a healthy  pet. On average mixbred dogs are know to have less health problems than purebred dogs.
